Zagreb, Croatia, 27-28 May 2026 – The INTERCEPT project is entering an important phase of its implementation journey. At the end of June 2026, the project officially reaches its mid-term milestone – a key moment in every European project, marking the transition from initial setup and planning activities towards intensified technical development, validation, collaboration, and preparation for long-term impact and exploitation.
To support this next phase, the INTERCEPT consortium gathered in Zagreb, Croatia, from 27th May until 28th May 2026 for the project’s 2nd Plenary Meeting. Hosted by consortium partner KONČAR Digital, the meeting brought together representatives of all five project partners – T-2 d.o.o., KONČAR Digital, Pošta Slovenije, SI-CERT and Tiko Pro d.o.o..
The plenary meeting presented an important opportunity for consortium partners to meet again in person, exchange insights, review the work completed so far, and align on the next implementation steps planned for the upcoming project period. The meeting served as a platform for detailed discussions across all work packages, enabling partners to further strengthen collaboration and confirm the project’s strategic direction as it enters its second half.
Special focus was placed on the continued development of the INTERCEPT Threat Sharing Platform (TSP), collaboration between Security Operations Centres (SOCs), strengthening cyber threat intelligence sharing capabilities, and preparations for upcoming capacity-building and dissemination activities. Partners also reviewed project KPIs, communication activities, stakeholder engagement efforts, and upcoming events planned within the framework of Work Package 6.
As INTERCEPT moves into the second half of the project, the consortium remains focused on delivering practical cybersecurity solutions that contribute to stronger cross-border cooperation, improved cyber resilience, and more effective threat intelligence sharing across Europe.
More updates and upcoming activities will be published soon on the INTERCEPT project website and the project’s LinkedIn page.
